LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS GARNERS NATIONAL ATTENTION FOR ITS FIREPLACE WATERFALLS

LITTLE ROCK, ARK—Hearthfalls LLC, the company that designs and produces upscale fireplace waterfalls, has been soaking up national media limelight for its unique products. Cable networks HGTV and TLC have picked up on both the start-up success of the small business and the consumer appeal of its products, and are featuring the Hearthfall on their home decorating shows.

"The concept of the Hearthfall came to mind while I was sitting in my living room looking at my fireplace while not in use," Wheeler said of the beginnings of his creation. "The Hearthfall can be used on any wall in any room to give you the look of a fireplace with the relaxing sound of a waterfall."

HGTV's "I Want That!" features exciting, new products for 21st century homes that are chosen by an expert panel. The show will feature Hearthfalls Oct. 12 at 8:30 p.m. CST.

TLC's "Moving Up" follows a chain of new homeowners who move into one another's homes and begin the design and renovation process that occurs during the first six months of adjusting to a new home. "Moving Up" is slated to feature Hearthfalls in its season finale show Dec. 10.

Hearthfalls are free-standing units that can stand alone as a fireplace alternative, or be retrofitted over an existing fireplace. With the click of a remote controlled button, a gentle waterfall cascades from the mantle in front of the hearth. The units come with complimentary lights, colored lenses and cleaning supplies. Aromatherapy fragrances are also available for purchase.
